Box Living Presents LOOKBOOK II – PALETTES: CRAFTING HERITAGE
Jakarta, Indonesia — Box Living, Indonesia’s leading luxury furniture design house, unveils LookBook II – Palettes: Crafting Heritage, a collection of 74 new product introductions that celebrate the art of living beautifully. From sculptural lounge chairs to richly detailed cabinets, this latest chapter reflects Box Living’s journey of blending Indonesian craftsmanship with contemporary expression.
ARDEN LOUNGE CHAIR
The Arden Lounge Chair is a study in Artisan Fluidity. Its hand-sculpted curves flow like a continuous gesture, balancing ergonomics with visual artistry. Designed for comfort yet striking in silhouette, Arden embodies Box Living’s belief that craft is most powerful when it speaks both to the eye and the body. Smooth timber, sculpted by hand, invites touch while creating a timeless sense of presence.
CEDRIC SIDE CHAIR
Newly introduced in LookBook II, the Cedric Side Chair reimagines Box Living’s classic methodology. Hand-sculpted solid wood frames cradle panels of inlaid rattan, the woven surface adding warmth and tactility. Architectural lines define its profile, while ergonomics ensure it supports the human form with ease. Cedric is both an object of beauty and a chair of purpose — a modern heirloom built on the dialogue of wood and weave.
ARDEN TABLES — COFFEE, SIDE & SOFA
The Arden Tables play with duality — pairing bold, organic bases with refined stone tops. Overscaled blocks of sculpted wood, heavy with character, ground each design, while ultra-thin slabs of manufactured stone appear to float above them. The contrast is striking: warm and cool, textured and smooth, fluid and static. Together, these opposing forces create a rhythm, a yin–yang balance where materials dance rather than compete.
LIORA FAMILY — NIGHT CABINET, CREDENZA & LOUNGE CHAIR
The Liora Family explores Maximalist Simplicity — rich, patterned veneers laid over clean, box-like forms. Each surface becomes a canvas for ornament, with baroque-inspired veneers meticulously inlaid by hand. Simple three-dimensional frames give restraint, ensuring the material itself takes center stage. Whether as a Night Cabinet, a Credenza, or a Lounge Chair, Liora transforms the decorative surface into functional art — tactile, opulent, and unapologetically expressive.
The unveiling of LookBook II – Palettes: Crafting Heritage will take place at the Box Living Flagship Store North – IDD, PIK 2, on September 18, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Guests will enjoy live music, experience the collection firsthand, and receive special gifts curated for the occasion.
“LookBook II is more than furniture — it’s about moments, materials, and how craft becomes part of daily life,” said Marcel Opstal, Co-Founder of Box Living. “With 74 new introductions, we’re showing how Indonesian artisanship can shape the modern home in ways that are both timeless and fresh.”
